Video Installation

This artwork is the combination of a sculptural element in the form of the replication of a tunnel and the projections of a video onto it. The sculpture is the replication of a tunnel, which results out of the overpass of a highway over a country road. The projection is the image of the reflection that the lights of a car create on the real tunnel while the car runs through it at night time. The natural concrete surface of the tunnel is only created by the video and only visible when the light runs through the tunnel. This happens in irregular intervals. The installation is approximately 1,5 meters broad 2 meters deep and 1,7 meters high.

Light Installation

The installation shows nine models of wind turbines that continously rotate in the dark. They are lit by nine LED spot lights in the rythem of their original signal lighting. The control unit of LEDs forms a second light scene on the opposit gallery wall. A constant humming is created by the engines of the turbines as well as a clicking-noise, created by the relais of the light controll unit.
